These accommodation may be originally designed for volunteers, but Charitrip aims to destinate it also to welcomes conscious travelers looking for meaningful stays.
Charities can offer experiences and flexible ways to get involved — always optional.
The goal of Charitrip is simple:
to turn travel, especially accommodation, into something more meaningful — supporting real causes and creating real impact.
No. It’s travel with impact. Volunteering is optional.
It is mainly about hosting conscious travelers who connect with your mission and your cause.
The traveler is free to use their time as they wish. If both sides agree, the traveler can get involved and support your work.
But they can also simply stay — contributing financially to your project.
Before the stay, both parts will define everything:
The host conditions, the expectations of the traveler, and how the experience will work.
Clear, flexible, and aligned from the start.
1. NGOs, charities, and purpose-driven communities list their accommodation for free.
2. Travelers can explore and search based on the causes they want to support - between other filters.
3. Once they find a place, they connect directly with the host to agree on everything:
dates, activities (if any), type of stay, and price.
4. All payments are arranged directly between both sides,
and the money goes straight to the host.
5. For the traveler: To access the platform and these types of stays, travelers subscribe with an annual fee.
This helps keep Charitrip running and growing — reaching more conscious travelers and supporting more impactful projects around the world.

For NGOs and hosts, it’s completely free to join and list your accommodation.
For travelers, there is a €60 annual subscription.
This helps keep the platform running and growing — supporting more projects and building a community of conscious travelers.
NGOs have full control — prices, availability, rules, and type of experience.
After the stay, travelers are asked to share their feedback through a short form.
This helps ensure quality and transparency across the platform. If a host does not meet expectations or engages in bad practices (such as greenwashing),
they may be removed from the platform.
You can refer NGOs, grassroots communities, or social projects that offer accommodation (or could offer it).
They should be aligned with Charitrip’s values — real impact, transparency, and respect for local communities.
A listing must be:
- Complete (description, photos, details of the stay)
- Real and active (not placeholder content)
- Aligned with our values (no greenwashing or misleading info)We manually review every listing before approving it.
You earn €2 only when:
- The referred project has published their listing
- The listing has been reviewed and approved by our team
- The email of the user corresponds with the one you specify in your Referral Tracking Sheet (once you apply to the referral program)
No — there’s no limit.
The more valid listings you bring, the more you earn.
Getting started is simple:
1. Fill out the form
Share your contact and payment details so we can register you in the program.
2. Start referring your network
Once submitted, your contacts can create their accommodations directly through the button "
3. Listings are reviewed
Each accommodation goes through a manual review process, which can take 48–72 hours.
4. Track your referrals
You’ll receive access to a shared document where you can log the emails of the registered listings.
We’ll use this to track activity and calculate your monthly payments.
Simple, transparent, and easy to follow.
At the end of each month, you simply fill in the list of the contacts you referred.
We will provide you the official Referral tracking sheet to add the required information.
We’ll match them with the listings created on the platform and confirm your earnings.
Payments are made between the 1st and 10th of the month following the moment you reach the €20 threshold.
Yes.
You will receive your payout once your accumulated earnings reach €20.
👉 If you don’t reach €20 in a given month, your balance will roll over to the next one until the threshold is met.

When you apply, we’ll show you the available options based on your location.
If a listing doesn’t meet our standards, it won’t be approved — and no payment will be issued for that referral.
We prioritize quality and real impact over quantity.
Yes — Charitrip is global.
In fact, we especially value connections in emerging or underrepresented regions.
Yes — but only if they create different listings.
Each approved listing = €2, even if it belongs to the same project.
👉 For example:
If a project has multiple locations (different countries or cities or addresses ) and publishes them as separate listings, each one will count individually.
However: The same listing cannot be counted more than once Duplicate or repeated submissions won’t be rewarded
👉 In short: €2 per approved listing, not per project.
Not for now.
All listings must include accommodation — either:
- Within the project’s own facilities,
- or Through a partnership with local hotels, houses, hostels, or similar
In all cases, the accommodation must directly benefit the project (financially or through clear collaboration).
We consider spam or fraud:
- Fake or duplicated listings
- Misleading or invented projects
- Mass, low-quality submissions

If you have a network, curiosity, and believe in what we’re building — you’re ready.
For now, tracking is not fully automated in real time.
👉 Instead, you’ll use your personal Impact Referral Tracker — a shared Google Drive document where you can log the projects you’re contacting
We use this tracker to:
- Verify your referrals
- Monitor activity
- Calculate your earnings
